The GATE is a designated 501-c-3 nonprofit agency. Our mission is
to help young adults with disabilities to achieve independence by
providing them with vocational training and social activities.

Social Activities
The Gate provides a variety of activities in a variety of areas to enhance
the leisure time of participants, such as : games, music, art, athletics,
cooking, gardening, etc.
Pre-work Experiences
Volunteer jobs will offer participants the opportunity to provide a service to
others in the community. Participant will have an opportunity to acquire
essential work skills:
Athletics
Interested participants, may participate in a variety of Special Olympic
events offered through Parks and Rec. The GATE will provide volunteer
coaches, registration information and practice time for these activities.
